The goal of the NRC International Committee is to encourage international participation in the National Reading Conference, including the annual meeting and publications. The members of the committee invite questions and will be happy to serve as facilitators in connecting interested international participants with possible literacy research collaborators within NRC. Also, we are pleased to support the development of proposals by potential international presenters at the annual meeting. Please contact us for further information.

International ICG Travel Grants
The ICG has small grants to help international presenters defray the cost of their travel to the NRC Annual Meeting.

Eligibility WILL BE based on the following criteria AND SHOULD BE CONSIDERED before submitting:
a. Have an accepted presentation at the Annual Meeting;
b. Live outside of the U.S.A.;
c. Submit an application to become a committee member (free membership);
d. Submit an application for the grant.

All applications should be submitted to Kristen Perry( kristen.perry@uky.edu) or Xiaoming Liu (xliu@towson.edu) via e-mail by the October 25th deadline. Grant notification will be sent out shortly upon the approval of the steering committee.
